EnerGuide for Multi-Unit Residential Buildings (MURBs)

A happy family standing outside of a residential building

If you've had enough of the high energy bills in your drafty building, you can change the way you use energy by participating in the Nova Scotia EnerGuide for Multi-Unit Residential Buildings/ecoENERGY Retrofit Program.

Through this provincial program, you can receive rebates by improving the energy performance of your multi-unit residential building.

While you're at it, you can cut your energy costs by 30 percent on average. These savings are permanent. You can also reduce your greenhouse gas emissions by more than five tonnes, on average.

Rebates

Rebate amounts depend on the number of units in the MURB and the energy efficiency upgrades made to the building.

The maximum provincial rebate is $4,500 per building.

For a list of available rebates, please see our MURB rebate guide.
