Current & Past Participants

Homeowners that participated in the previous federal EnerGuide for Houses program (if your "A" evaluation was before May 12, 2006) are eligible for the new ecoEnergy Retrofit Program. However, you must have a new home evaluation before starting any new upgrades.

Homeowners that have participated in the Nova Scotia EnerGuide for Houses program (if your "D" evaluation was after April 1, 2007) are automatically enrolled in the ecoEnergy Program


The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is also offering a 10% rebate on the premium of your mortgage loan insurance if you improve the energy efficiency of your house under the EnerGuide program, or if you buy an energy efficient home. For more information click here.
