Homeowners who had a "D" evaluation performed before March 31, 2010, or had an evaluation appointment booked and registered by March 31, 2010, are eligible to receive both provincial and federal rebates.
Homeowners who have a "D" evaluation performed after March 31, 20010 will be eligible for the provincial rebates, as well as the zero-interest loan program.
The Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) is also offering a 10% rebate on the premium of your mortgage loan insurance if you improve the energy efficiency of your house under the EnerGuide program, or if you buy an energy efficient home. For more information click here.
