EnerGuide for Existing Houses

EnerGuide Retail Marketing Logo

Find out where your home is losing energy by having a home energy evaluation. You could qualify for up to $6,500 in rebates [up to $5,000 from the federal government, up to $1,500 from the provincial government] depending on the energy efficiency improvements you make to your home.

Effective March 30, 2009, the federal government increased the rebate amounts for individual upgrades within the ecoENERGY program. The maximum federal rebate remains $5,000, but homeowners making qualifying energy efficiency upgrades can now get even more money back in rebates--up to 25 per cent more money on qualifying products.

As of August 1, 2009, rebates for electricity efficiency measures are also available. For more information visit here.
