Building More Energy Efficient Houses
Nova Scotians are being encouraged to build more energy-efficient houses.
With plans to make energy and water conservation standards part of the provincial building code, new efficiency levels will be required for several rebate programs. (more)
Federal Government Increases Rebate Amounts under ecoENERGY Program
The Federal Government recently announced an increased investment in the ecoENERGY-Homes program.
Effective March 30, 2009, homeowners participating in the Nova Scotia EnerGuide for Houses/ecoENERGY program can now qualify for as much as 25% more in federal rebates to a maximum of $5,000 per home, from the federal government--in addition to the maximum provincial rebate of $1,500 from Conserve Nova Scotia (more)
Helping Multi-Unit Residential Building Owners Invest in Energy Efficiency
Conserve Nova Scotia and the Investment Property Owners Association of Nova Scotia have partnered to offer owners of multi-unit residential buildings provincewide rebates on energy-efficient products for their buildings. (more)
